Bangalore Book Festival: Bangalore Book Festival is an annual event, bringing over a hundred publishers and book stores from all over India to Bangalore. It is a delightful occasion and a must visit for all book-lovers in Bangalore and near by. This year, Book Festival is scheduled to run from 12th Nov, 2010 to 21st Nov, 2010.
Pothi.com has been participating in the festival for last two years. Pothi.com's stall enables independent and self published authors to show case their books in this prestigious event.
Benefits for upcoming authors: This is an excellent opportunity for new authors to put their work in front of a whole lot of book-lovers. Participation
Authors who have published their books in print can display their books in our stall. There are two ways to participate in the Book Festival
- Through Extended Online Distribution (Recommended way): Sign up for our extended online distribution programme. Books that are in extended online distribution will automatically get displayed in Bangalore Book Festival at no extra cost (four copies).
- Through One time Participation fee: Pay participation fee of Rs. 800 and order four copies of your book to be shipped to our office address.

Discounts and Royalties
- The books coming through one time participation fee will be sold at 10 percent discount and royalty payable will be calculated according to the discounted price. If you want to change the price of the book, please do so before ordering the books and paying the participation fee.
- The books coming through Online Distribution will be sold at a higher discount (we are deciding the percentage) and the royalty accrued will be the same as for the copies being sold through retail partners (we intend to pass the discount to the readers as most of the stores offer heavy discounts during the festival).
Unsold copies
This is applicable only to the books coming through one time participation fee. Up to four unsold copies will be returned to an address within India without any extra charges. If you need the copies outside India applicable shipping charges will be payable.

To participate through our stall you have to do the following
- Pay a one time participation fee of Rs. 1000
- Ship four copies of your book to us

Discounts and Royalties
- Pothi.com's share of sales will be 45% of the MRP.
- Any discounts to be offered will be decided by Pothi.com and will be from Pothi.com's share.
Unsold copies
Up to four unsold copies will be returned to an address within India without any extra charges.
