Managing University Industry Technology Collaboration Projects

This book is part of a doctoral thesis in the strategy area that was submitted in 1996 at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. It adapted the case method of research to a multi-organisational context to study the process by which industrial firms and technology institutions effectively collaborate on technology projects. The thesis won the P D Agarwal – TCI Award for Doctoral Research in Management. Papers on this work were subsequently published in the Academy of Management Review, Research Policy, International Journal of Technology Management, Technology Analysis and Strategic Management and Technovation.
