Born in 1937, Ramaseshaiah Rangavajjhala is a
mechanical engineering graduate from the Indian
Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and worked
for most of his nearly forty years of working life as
a consulting engineer in the steel, power and
energy sectors. Besides science and technology, his
interests span the areas of history, philosophy and
religion. After retiring in 1999, he now lives with
his wife, Sarojini in Hyderabad (India).
