Gaur has a technical, managerial and professional work-place experience of over 45 years in the fields of designing, production planning, production and quality management in different Ordnance Factories under Ministry of Defence. Out of it, about 18 years were devoted to quality management. He was instrumental in preparation of quality manual and quality system procedures for his organization. He has conducted a number of audits as an auditor. He is well known for his contribution in the field of education and delivered lectures in various organizations and institutes.
While at OFK, he was deeply associated with quality management system assessment, surveillance audits and internal audits of the organization for a period of more than 6 years. Also, significant contribution was made by him towards achieving a quality status which led to Golden Peacock National Quality Award to the organization.
To his credit, he has many papers on "Quality" presented in seminars and conferences. He is life member of the International Corporation of Engineers, and Indian Association for Productivity, Quality and Reliability.
