What are the payment options available on Pothi.com?

Currently the following methods are available for making the payments:

  • Credit Card, Indian Debit Cart/Net banking through Times of Money Direcpay: The payment options supported include
    • Credit Cards: Visa, Diners Club (For Master card, please use Paypal)
    • Debit Cards: SBI, HDFC, Axis Bank, Deutsche Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Corporation Bank, Karur Vysya Bank
    • Net Banking: ICICI, Citibank, HDFC, Yes Bank, Bank of India, Kotak Bank, IDBI, Axis Bank
  • Paypal: Payment can be made using paypal balance or Credit Cards. This option should be used for Master Card, as direcpay currently does not support Master Card. An additional charge of Rs. 15 is levied over the total bill amount for each transaction. Since paypal does not accept INR, we pass on the total amount in USD to paypal. The current rate of conversion being used is Rs. 42 to 1 USD. If you are paying by an Rupee Credit Card, due to the conversion rates applied by paypal/bank (which is beyond our control), there may be some discrepancies in the final amount. The best way to avoid this is to use electronic transfer, if you have an Indian bank account.
  • Electronic Transfer to our bank account: Easiest and Cheapest method. You can transfer to our bank account from any bank that gives the facility of electronic transfer. For example ICICI Bank, Axis(UTI) Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI etc. Following details can be used for the transfer:
