This book is about the Rank Pay in addition to pay promised by then Prime Minister & Raksha Mantri to the Armed Forces officers in 1987 and, how Ministry of Defence denied payment first by deduction, held illegal as far back as 1998 by the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala, then continues to delay by subterfuges, wilful concealment of material facts, and verisimilitude, giving the same benefits decreed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in 2010 and confirmed in 2012 to similarly placed officers.

About the Author

Air Marshal S Y Savur was commissioned in 1966 in the transport aircraft stream of the General Duties (Pilots) later Flying (Pilots) Branch of the Indian Air Force. He retired in 2006 as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Air Command.

He has been decorated by the President with Ati Vishist Seva Medal (AVSM) for distinguished service of an exceptional order and the Param Vishist Seva Medal (PVSM) for distinguished service of the most exceptional order.

A firm believer in the RTI Act, 2005.

Just The Bare Truth

Though the Title of the Book says it all, yet as one who has been thru every page before it went to print i can certify that every word is nothing but the truth. It's straight talk by a concerned man.

Contributing to ESM cause, for every copy sold, is indeed laudable.

From Author's Desk-Top to Book reaching public in just ten days the task, involving painful editing, proof, reading, editing, printing and then finally distributing is herculean and unheard of in Publishing Industry.

Hopefully this Book will be a Wake Up Call for those in Corridors of Power
