Description of "Masiha"

MASIHA is Hindi adaptation of Khalil Gibran's classic work THE PROPHET published in 1923 in the USA. Along with GITANJALI by Tagore and SIDDHARTHA by Hermann Hesse, this book is considered to be a great literary work published during the twentieth century. Although the book has appeared in dozens of international languages, no authorized Hindi edition could be published until 2018 due to copyright restrictions. Some unauthorized editions that have appeared in Hindi lack the beauty and sophistication of the original text. This Hindi adaptation of THE PROPHET is remarkable for its poetic and lyrical quality. At the same time it retains the authenticity of the original work. The book contains more than one dozen colored and B&W drawings of Khalil Gibran. It is therefore as much a work of art (suitable for display on a coffee-table) as it is a great work of philosophical fiction.
