Description (Wife or No Wife in Life)
The story titled as “Wife or No Wife in Life” is a beautiful collection of short stories of different taste and flavour coupled with social ethics and human value. The main story is based on the title of the book itself and other short stories are relevant to different theme, taste and flavour of different categories.
For instance the first story explains why man marries or doesn’t marry in life.
The second story is of a different theme. It is plotted on the basis of the conversation made with a young lady over telephone in presence of the author’s wife. Its theme is patience that husband should have in dealing with wife.
The third story relates to social ethics. It shows how a woman is faithful to her husband after marriage.
The fourth story is very interesting and is full of suspense and thrill.
The fifth one relates to the over ambition of man on certain issues of life. It is advised sometimes over ambition results in adverse situation and circumstance and nothing is left out when man/woman becomes overambitious but to repent whole life.
The sixth story appears to be quite unbelievable, none can believe a married husband allows his wife to spend a day in a week with her lover. But as the flowers are of different colour and smell in nature, so is the case with human beings, in society anything may happen.
All stories are of different flavour and fervour. The language is so simple, the theme is so interesting and the flair is so impressive that once it is started, it will be over like a fairy tale. Every story in its depth contains some social ethics and human value and morale.
