Rudri is a somewhat irreverent young woman, from the old tribes of the Mother worshippers, who have certain mystical powers of thought transference.

She is bored with her town life, and wonders how it would be to leave her ordered existence and explore the Great Unknown. Rudri has a questioning nature and is fascinated by the bright sun, moon and the stars.

By accident she sets out on an adventure.

She meets up with another tribe from across the mountains, joins them and finds with them all the excitement she craved for, as well as romance.
