About the Author

Ashok Patwari is a medical doctor by profession. He is a former Professor of Pediatrics from Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi and a Research Professor in International Health from Boston University School of Public Health, Boston. He has been writing and publishing in leading Urdu literary journals for over four decades. His collection of Urdu short stories 'Kuch Lamhe Kuch Saaye' was awarded by Delhi Urdu Academy in 2005. 'Behta Paani', collection of his Hindi short stories was also liked by his readers. He regularly contributes to several print and online literary journals in English.
