I have heard someone saying, “I cannot purchase that car because its maintenance costs much. To buy it is not a problem but to bear the expenses later on is what is that counts.”I think, same is the case with obtaining a professional degree. The car is bought but it cannot be said in case of getting a degree. Although both of them are earned. When I talk of maintenance of car, I also talk of updating of knowledge you receive by obtaining a degree even after you earn it to give you an opportunity to get a good placement. I am very sorry to say that most of the students of different courses of our country especially in Northern India go for obtaining the degree rather than achieving it. To do a professional course is not so tuff as to defend it. The curriculum of the course should be designed in such a way that it meets all requirements-from getting knowledge to performing at various levels for getting a good placement. A professional degree is not more than a ticket to enter some arena of your interest. How you fight there, how you make a mark there is what is not heeded in various educational Institutes and above all the focus of the students. They must be taught various multi-facets skills too so as to cater the needs of the corporate world. Keeping this objective in mind, this work book is served for you.

About the Author

Dr. Mosam Sinha is a bilingual poet, writing in Hindi and English, reviewer, editor, critic, translator, broadcaster, trainer, counselor and a distinguished writer. Presently, he is Reader & Head, dept. of English Communication & Personality Development at CMCA, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, and Moradabad (U.P) India. He is visiting faculty to National School of Living Performing & Visual Art, Moradabad . He edits one journal of management and two of English Literature. He is fellow to International Poets Academy, Chennai and Home of Letters, Orrisa. After having served as a part time presenter for about six years in All India Radio, Rampur, he is still in tuned with radio and often presents his programmes there. He has done more than sixty stage shows as a host and acted two tele- movies.

As a writer, Dr.Sinha has written fifteen books. He has written books on ‘Professional Communication’, ‘Basics of Communication Skills’ ‘Remedial English Language’, ‘Technical Communication’, 'English Communication' ,'Business Ethics', 'Culture your Presentation','Business Communication' and others. As a literary figure, Dr.Sinha has written about 80 poems and about 160 haiku in English, 4 short stories, a one-act play and about 50 poems in Hindi. He is anthologized in various anthologies and has edited three anthologies on poetry and two on Professional Communication. He loves composing haiku. He has reviewed the poems of various contemporary Indian English poets. He has attended and presided various national and international conferences and seminars. His poems and papers have appeared in Canopy, Indian Book Chorincle, Poet, Poetry World, Poets International, Poetry Today, Bizz Buzz, Skylark, Rock Pebbles Poetcrit, Samvedana, Metverse Muse, Contemporary Vibes Opinion Today, Gyan Jyoti, Vidhya Megh, and many other print and web journals and newspapers.

In the year 2009, Dr.Sinha received Editors’ Choice Award for his creative skills and contribution to Indian English Literature by The Home of Letters, Bhubaneswar, Orissa. He was also conferred upon with the highest citation: ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ and Fellow of International Poets Academy Award by International Poets Academy, Chennai for his contribution to world poetry.
