Monika Kapur
A poet, a painter, a writer, a chemical engineer, an entrepreneur and a full time mom of two lovely kids. A bibliophile, she loves reading, music and traveling. She credits books for laying her foundation as a poet and a writer. She is well apt in writing both in English and Hindi and her writings are a mirror of her thoughts.

She lives in a peaceful city of Faridabad in a joint family. Her family is her strength and she believes in teaching the virtues of simple living to her kids. She occasionally takes art and craft classes with kids and feels a special bond with them. She loves organizing events, socializing, but her first love is spending time with her family. She is a hardcore optimist who believes in the beauty of her dreams. Writing is a passion that keeps her going. She has been a part of several anthologies, Clipped wings grow, Clipped wings glow, Crimson kisses, Bounded Ehsaas are a few of them. She was a co_editor for a Hindi poetry anthology ‘Ishq e watan’. She believes that the female is complete in herself, she is her own universe, stronger than she seems and beautiful despite any colour of her skin. A rainbow resides in her, which is way above her outward appearance.
