Description

Everybody working for an organization in any capacity wants to contribute to improving the performance of that organization, with the intention of also improving their career prospects. A departmental manager at a large business who has undergone formal education in management tries to apply his classroom learning to real-life business situations to improve the performance of his department as well as boost his/her own career prospects. However, a departmental manager working for a large business who does not have a formal education in management but has some business experience tries to use his/her past experience, learns from colleagues, follows proven examples, accepts instructions from superiors, and applies other means to improve the performance of his/her department.
This book focuses on the functioning of an individual departmental manager working for a large business who does not have any formal education in management, and therefore it is written as a dialogue with him/her and to help manage their business. I sincerely hope that after reading my book, all managers can better plan to improve the performance of their departments and contribute to improving the performance of their organization and this helps them achieve desired career growth.
