Description of "Bangalored"

It is 2020. Bangalore is dead.

“Bangalored” has changed its meaning over the years since the first time it was used in 2004 US Presidential elections, when it meant someone losing a job over outsourcing. Now, in 2020, that Bangalore is dying – a slow, painful death caused by its own custodians. Corruption, greed, land grab, traffic, water crisis, un-professional work ethics, unfriendly investment environment is leading it to its obvious end.

Yash Deshpande comes to Bangalore to seek answers to the secrets behind his father's sudden death. His father, Sid Deshpande, was a software entrepreneur who successfully sold his company in the US. This was the company that he set up in Bangalore in 2004 before moving to the Bay Area in 2015.

Yash comes across his Dad's digital diary that slowly opens up his Dad's struggle and success of setting up a technology company in the 'Silicon Valley of the east'. Yash finds new companions to unearth the mystery behind the death while slowly starts loving the city that he once hated.

And then, he gets Bangalored!
