Description of "Life is a pack of 52 cards"

For me, life had always been a game of choices. It is a game of perceptions that we draw everyday within our minds and their associated outlook. To some, life has always been “half-full” while to others; it has been “half-empty”. Through this book, the author guarantees that one can easily solder wire the brain to look only for the "half-full" side that our life has to offer.

Remember the end of movie, Spiderman 3, when Peter Parker pauses for a moment and thinks about life’s best-taught lessons – “No matter what the circumstances are, we always have a choice. And, the choices that we make in life determine who we are”. How true! The choices that we make in our life determine the kind of results that we experience and the quality of the life that we live.

As I share these personal experiences (I have changed names and narrated them in a fictitious storyboard manner to honor and respect privacy), there are good chances that you may have faced them already and would have dealt with such situations in a unique way different than mine.

The author pledges to donate ALL the proceedings from the sale of this book to The Being Human Foundation (http://www.beinghumanonline.com), dedicated to education and healthcare of the under-privileged kids.

About the author(s)

The author works as a General Manager for a reputed and leading American multinational corporation.

However, on the personal side and for the last 39 years, he has been insuring and managing complex yet sweet "life" relations woven around his family, friends, colleagues, customers and well-wishers.

An engineer by education, he believes that "life" is the greatest teacher of all times and one who understands life needs no further education to survive and be successful in this world.

Born in 1973, he currently lives happily with his son and wife based out of New Delhi, India.

Life is a pack of 52 cards is an excellent book to help you improve as a person in your personal and professional life. It helps you in living a life full of zest, vigor and happiness and as mentioned in the book, helps you living a life with a purpose.

One of the great things about this book that great lessons of life are not merely mentioned as a preacher, they are beautifully explained by real life scenarios, small stories which makes you feel connected with the book all the times. My personal favorite is "Law of Opposites". It helps you appreciate the good things we have in our lives and not to take them granted.

One you start on it, I bet you can't leave it in between. There is always an anticipation, what's gonna be there in the next chapter and trust me, you don't get disappointed by reading the next one. If one chapter brings a smile on your face, then other one might make you cry. It is a great amalgamation of all the emotions one can think of which makes it an interesting read.

I highly recommend reading it. This is surely gonna shine your bookshelf
