At the level of class X, the subject of Computer Applications has gained high popularity and this subject lays total emphasis on programming aspects in Java language. Following is the course content as per new syllabus issued by Council for ICSE board.
This is to help students learn fundamental concepts of computing using object oriented approach in one computer language.

About the Author

Author works in big multinational company and has over 6 years of experience in software industry. He has worked in several web and windows based applications. He is Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) professional.

Writing is something I do extra and love doing it. This is first edition and I have tried to cover most of the requirements as per current syllabus for ICSE STD IX. In case you are not familiar to IDE and programming, please refer book Getting Started with JAVA for ICSE STD IX (by Swapnil Karmalkar). This book covers all aspects of programming for beginners. There are two more books coming soon for ICSE STD X students one will cover all practical and programs, other will cover sample question papers and some tips on how to face exams.
