Digonta Bordoloi grew up in the North East of India, the youngest of three children. The multi cultural environment of the North East made him fluent in six languages before he turned fifteen. In his twenties, career dreams took him first to Delhi, then to Mumbai where he worked for fifteen years as a copy writer in the world of high-level advertising. Once the gloss of corporate life wore off, he set sail for Africa, spending some time in Uganda, then Swaziland and Tanzania, where he started writing Slow, his first novel. Also there, in a game park, he met his Love. Now he and his wife, Susie shuttle between India and Australia and call both countries, home.
