Description of "Tinku's Tooth and other stories"
This story book is for the children up to the age of 10. The stories capture the imagination of these little kids. Talking to the nature, listening to a railway engine are the typical games that all of us would have enjoyed in our childhood. Some stories do carry a subtle message without making that obvious. While younger kids will enjoy listening to these stories, the older ones will also enjoy the easy reading.

Daughter "Dad let us also put some plants in our balcony so that they can come on my birthday". My wife explained her the concept of months in year so she is waiting for her next b’day to come.
Every time I readout the story the next question is “When are we going to Chandigarh by train. In Chandigarh I will make Snoopy as my friend not buffalo. Buffalo kee gandhee smell hotee hai”.

Book is really good at creating problem for the fathers whose daughters are like the one I have ;-) ;-) ;-)
I have 4 year old daughter who likes to hear these stories time and again but with some Q&A session. Here are few of them.
Cheers !!!!! After listening to what happen to Tinku’s teeth she has started brushing her teeth before going to bed. It is not because Mr. Germ will stay there, it is because she don’t want to share the chocolate or apple with Mr. Germ.
Waiting for next edition of Tinku Series !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A very good collection of short stories without any sci-fi thought. Each of the stories have got a message to convey as well. For my son who is nearly 2 years, bed time implies Tinku's tooth story and for my self it is that some of the habits to be followed religiously.

well although its a good 8-10 years before I start empathizing with a struggling story-telling father :P but still the book was immensely enjoyable. The simplicity of creativity in the narration style and plot is pure entertainment. Basically a fairy tale book, it captures your imagination by its immaculate symbolism and simple humor. ( I loved the construction activities by papa germ :S)
And i will save the best for the last - the cover page ! you have to be artistically stunted to overlook the brilliance of the cover page :D it sets the tone for the book actually and is a fitting prologue in a way... someone got it right.."a picture is worth a thousand words" :)
PS i will be waiting for that best-seller novel of yours :)

All the stories are so natural and appears so near to our childhood.
As a father of 4+ yrs old son, it is so touchy and gives the right kind of lessons with lots of fun element.
My son, Advay has become soooo fond of the stories that either he or I have to tell each other any one of the stories before we go for sleep.
Moti with the School tie is just too hilarious..... :-)
as per my son, he now wants to draw the cover page, as like, upon taking lessons from Smriti didi!!!

I fell in love with the stories instantly.the stories are a unique combination of moral teachings of Panchtatras, sweetness of granny's night time stories and an added attraction of modern time references.
uncomplicated phrases, lucid narration and above all the imagination of author....................the fridge,T.V.,bicycle coming out of Tinku's cavity.
it's innovative................
