Aftab Yusuf Shaikh, born on the 17th of November 1989. He started writing at the age of eight and got his first poem published that very year. The American Library of Poetry had included his poems in their collection of 200 poets chosen from among 2 million poets around the world.

He was awarded, the Outstanding Achievement in Poetry Silver Award twice and nominated twice for the Poet of the Year Award, in 2004 and 2005.

His poems have been published in Indian as well as foreign magazines.

He is pursuing his Bachelors in English Literature from the University of Mumbai.
