The flipped classroom (also referred to as the inverted classroom, reverse teaching, or flipped learning) represents a pedagogical approach that fundamentally rearranges the traditional educational sequence. In its most essential form, the flipped classroom reverses the conventional relationship between class time and homework by moving direct instruction outside the classroom while bringing practical application activities, traditionally assigned as homework, into the classroom setting.
