Description

DESCRIPTION (The Glimpses Of India)
The Glimpses of India is a beautiful collection of short stories based on his tour and travel undertaken by him along with his family.
He visited a few worth seeing places of historical and non – historical importance in a single/double stretch during the specific period of time and whatever he has seen, felt and came to know about is described by him like a live telecast or that of the reals of the box office hit films/movies.
The author has travelled almost all the worth seeing places of North India of historic and religious significance and beside visiting has stayed there for a few days along with his wife and sons and daughters and has enjoyed every bit of life in and under the lap of nature - the beautiful weather, scene and scenery. Moreover he has acquainted with the different people of the different states, their tradition, culture, language and dresses.
What has attracted more each and every one is the weather/climate of Nainital and Mussoorie, the natural scene and scenery around the valleys, the open sky laden with whitish balls of cloud over heads as if they were floating from one corner to another with the force of the wind.
The author has stayed in these hill stations for a few days and it was the summer season but all enjoyed “ Thanda - Thanda, Cool – Cool.” Amazing! Superb!
Unforgettable!
The Naini Lake of Nainital, The Sahashtradhara of Dehradoon and the Kempty Fall of Mussoorie are the most attractive places that the author has enjoyed together in rowing boats in the lake and bathing joyfully in the Dhara and in the falls.
We visited “The Tajmahal” in Agra – an extra ordinary monument built by Shah Jahan , the then Moghul Emperor of India in the memory of his beloved wife – “ Mumtaj Mahal.” It is a symbolic icon of true love and affection of an emperor to his wife.
Mathura and Vrindavan are world famous pilgrimage places on the earth where Lord Krishna was born, played and danced with his friends.
Delhi, the capital of India, has been our last stay. So many worth seeing places in Delhi but we have selected a few of utmost importance of history, culture and heritage. We have visited the Red Fort, the Kutub Minar, the Birla Mandir, the Lotus Temple, the Connaught place, IIT, Delhi, the Jantar – Mantar, the India Gate beside others falling in the ways.
Kolkata is one of the metropolitan cities of India and famous for so many worth seeing places. I have visited along with my grandson and granddaughter and as desired by them have visited Kalighat – Kali Mandir, the Victoria Memorial, the BM Birla Planetariums, the Howrah Bridge, the Esplanade etc. We have travelled by metro rails, trams and buses all these places and have enjoyed exceptionally.
The author has described the whole journeys so simply, enthusiastically and interestingly that once the book comes in anybody’s hand, he/she cannot help stop finishing it.
As the book is part one, very soon part two will be written, printed, published and will be open for sale on online only.
