Dr. Sohong Dhar
He is a distinguished Information Scientist with a strong
interdisciplinary
background in data science,
information retrieval, cybersecurity, and marketing
analytics . He earned his Ph.D. in Data Science . He
holds additional postgraduate degrees in Data Science
(IIT Madras), Library & Information Science (Jadavpur
University), and Linguistics (University of Calcutta).
Dr. Dhar has contributed to numerous high-impact projects at Google Brain, Microsoft
Azure, and C-Voter, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence, cloud
technologies, and data analytics in public health and policy research. His current
scholarly work explores digital resilience and health information-seeking behavior
among older adults, with an emphasis on psychosocial and behavioral analytics. He is
also the co-inventor of internationally registered design patents, including a UK patent
for a Cyber Crime Analytical Computer and an Indian design for an IoT Network Security
