Prem Gupta "Mani", popularly known as "MANI" among the writers faculty is a well known author. Writing since 1980, she has got eight books on her credit, including four collections of edited stories, two poetry collections of herself , a short story and a story collection of her own. She is also known for successfully organizing KATHA GOSTHIS at Kanpur for a continuous period of 14 years , per month, under the name of her -YATHARTH SANSTHA- It had the honor of being the only organization at Kanpur dedicated to short stories and also for introducing a number of today's renowned Hindi authors in Kanpur .
