But how about many others whose names appear in the film cast and filmographies? This book is an attempt put faces to their names. We have taken the first 20 Hindi films whose videos are in our collection and captured pictures of the cast and included more than 300 pictures.

About the Authors

Sheo Khetan has degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. He has been retired since 2005. He started watching films in the 50s and was mesmerized by them. So when he got a chance to work on pictorial filmography of Hindi films, he jumped into it. He has been capturing images from available films for the last three years. This is his first book on this project.

Professor Surjit Singh, a diehard movie fanatic, period. He is a retired Theoretical Physicist. He has been watching Hindi movies since 1952, has been collecting Hindi songs, movies and magazines since 1969, and has been writing about these things since 1996. He has had a website since 1999, http://hindi-movies-songs.com/joomla/ He has published two book in Physics and four on the forgotten and unsung artists of the 30s and 40s.
