Elections are festivals of any democracy as they give people a chance to celebrate achievements as well as show their resentments while holding the aspirations for the future. Elections are also a very serious activity as it puts a lot of responsibility on shoulders of winners while allowing time for introspection for the losers. The good thing about democracies is that they give an opportunity to realign the things after some time and all the stakeholders can assess themselves.
