Karoor Soman is a London based Malayalam writer. He hails from Charummood,Mavelikara, Kerala, India. Soman began his literary activities in his school days, with radio dramas. His literary work consists of Novels(English, Malayalam, Children’s) , Dramas, Articles, Travelogue, Stories, Historical stories, Poems, Travelogues, Biography. 3 of his stories and novels got translated into English and three of his stories became short films.
He has written 56 books to his credit covering a variety of some informative subjects such as sports, science and tourism. He won many awards in his literary career spanning over four decades. From 1985 onwards, all his 56 literary titles start with the letter “K” starting from Kadalkara and is unique in Malayalam literary history as no other writer in the world has managed to do this as of this date.
