This book, The Truth Behind POK: History, Conflict, and the Path Forward, is a humble attempt to unravel the complex layers of history, politics, and human struggle associated with this long-disputed territory. While much has been written and debated about Kashmir, I felt a pressing need to present a comprehensive narrative that focuses specifically on POK — its origins, the circumstances leading to its occupation, the lives affected, and the geopolitical consequences that continue to ripple through the subcontinent.
