Dr. Rakesh Kumar is a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Co-ordinator of Department of Clinical Psychology, Institute of Mental Health and Hospital, Agra. He is trained in Rorschach Inkblots in Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi during his M.Phil in Medical and Social Psychology (1987-1989). He is awarded Ph.D. in Psychology by Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in 1997. He is actively engaged in application of Rorschach Inkblot Techniques at Institute of Mental Health and Hospital, Agra since 1998. He has conducted training workshops on Rorschach Inkblots at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar; Dev Sanskriti Viswavidyalaya, Haridwar and Institute of Mental Health and Hospital, Agra. He has individually trained a number of postgraduate students of psychology on Rorschach Inkblot Test. He has also supervised four doctoral theses on Inkblots and two postgraduate research projects. He has published 15 research papers on inkblots. He has significantly contributed in the development of a Comprehensive Scoring System of Somatic Inkblot Series-I. He is the recipient of SIS International Awards in 2004 and 2008 in recognition of major contribution to the advancement of Somatic Inkblot Series.
