Yes, you read it correctly. Quitting is winning if you want to reclaim your life from the smokey habits of tobacco.
I started my smoking journey in 1980. I gradually became a chain smoker and continued my smoking career until 2017 – for over 35 years. It began with my pals exchanging a single puff at first, and it progressively progressed through several stages of accomplishment, like
Hurrah – I have completed one whole cigarette.
At last, I could achieve a praiseworthy milestone: consumption of multiple cigarettes a day.
Wow, how quickly I could achieve the goal of finishing one pack of cigarettes in a single day.
And so on……
At my peak, I was consuming nearly three packs of cigarettes a day. I tried four or five times to give up smoking, but each time, I returned to the cloud of smoke. Once, I restarted smoking after a lapse of six months....
