Subimal Sinha-Roy is a geologist. He was associated with many national and international Earth Sciences research projects as the Principal Scientist, and served as member of many scientific bodies, including Chairman of Earth Science Committee, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. He received Asiatic Society Medal, Geological Society of India Award and National Mineral Award for his scientific contribution. He regularly publishes poems in English in many poetry websites. He has published five poetry books, namely, Dance of a dry leaf (2015), The shape of shadows (2016), The boatman and the touch of twilight (2017), On the wings of winter (2018), and The rambling driftwood (2019).
Purnendu Ghosh is currently the Executive Director of Birla Institute of Scientific Research, Jaipur. He associated with teaching and research for the past four and a half decades, and has taken a lead role in augmenting bioprocess engineering and biotechnology activities in the country. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering and is currently its Vice President. He has been the Founder President of Biological Engineering Society and the Founder Editor-in-chief of INAE Letters, a Springer-Nature Publication. He has written several books in both the technical and non-technical genres. His recent books in the non-technical genre include: The Rising Sun, Neural Suitcase, Ethics of the Chair, Looking into the Mirror, School of Upna Life, Algorithms of life, At Leisure.
